Autumn 2017Adjusting to Change
College is nothing like high school... Suddenly you are given this extra freedom without anyone looking over you and telling you what to do and less class time. But with this new freedom comes new responsibility, such as balancing clubs, classes, and studying while making time to do laundry and eat food. The first quarter can be a little rough as I try to adjust to this new lifestyle. |
Winter 2018Getting Comfortable
After a full quarter here at the University of Washington, I started to find my rhythm. I got comfortable with the routine of living independently and learning how to handle classes and time management. I started on my minor (Political Science) as a personal passion as well as continuing pre-requisites for my majors (HCDE or CS). |
Spring 2018The End of the Beginning
When people say there is an easy 4.0 class, turns out it may not be for you... As I end my first year at the UW, I have learned a lot more about the UW, and found out a lot more about how to decide what's best for me. Though academically, the quarter was rough, the people I met and experiences I had made it the best of freshman year! |
Summer 2018
A New Experience
For many, summer is a chance to go back home and take a break, get an internship, or catch up on numerous activities. For me, while I did get to travel, it involved being back on UW's campus for 4 days a week! And I can honestly say, it was an experience I did not expect. I learned so much more than I thought, made amazing friends, and faced some tough decisions. |
