Finding a New HomeMoving to a new place can be tough. Especially without your parents. But even then, I got a chance to be independent, allowing me to grow as a person. I also got an opportunity to meet new people and live in a different city. While this is just the start of my Husky Experience, I am already excited!

My First MidtermYikes... I was not off to a great start in college. I was surprised at the difficulty and style of questions I was asked. After reviewing this midterm, I talked with my TA and started studying older midterms to prepare myself for the rest of the quarter, getting used to the styles of questions they were asking.

COLLEGE IS NOT ONLY ABOUT CLASSES
Coming into college, there are some independent living skills that I had locked down and could do very well, such as laundry and cleaning. Cooking was NOT one of them. On my 2nd attempt cooking, while trying to make pancakes, I burnt my hand badly (2nd degree) by having oil splash onto my hand. Since then, I have improved and have slowly bettered my cooking skills.

Autumn ReflectionComing into my first quarter, I did not know what to expect from UW. I had some ideas in mind and I was definitely surprised by some things. I was not sure where or what I'd fit into and got a chance to find those places as well.
